ARRL WAS America 250 Award
ARRL has a WAS America 250 award this year to help celebrate the 250th birthday of the United States of America. The cool thing is the oppurtunity to work under the W1AW/3 call during the event.
Each state has a week long operating challange once in the spring and once in the fall. Pennslyvania’s spring week is April 29th to May 5th.
Operating time 0000 UTC April 29th to 2359 UTC May 5th.

The objective is to work 250 state side contacts during that time. All bands except 60 meters are open to work. SSB, CW and digital modes like FT4, FT8, and RTTY are allowed.

When I contacted him about the event. I had to submit my call sign and then was mailed two PDF documents with operating and logging instructions. I plan to participate and look forward to the event. Nothing like some more wall art to brag about.
