Club Activities
The Tioga County Amateur Radio Club (TCARC) organizes amateur radio activities across Tioga County including Field Day, STPR, weekly nets, and monthly meetings in Wellsboro PA.
We offer weekly nets, licensing exams, and hands-on operating opportunities that help members build skills and knowledge. TCARC also supports our community through public service, emergency communications, and educational outreach.

Upcoming Events
TCARC participates in several major amateur radio activities throughout the year. Field Day is the ARRL’s annual emergency preparedness exercise held every June, where operators practice setting up and running stations under simulated emergency conditions. The Susquehannock Trail Performance Rally (STPR) is a highlight of the TCARC calendar — our members provide vital radio communications support across the rally course. TCARC has a dedicated STPR radio operations team that coordinates communications throughout the event. In addition to these events, members participate in weekly Tuesday night nets, monthly club meetings, license exam sessions, and community outreach activities across Tioga County.
TCARC members also participate in Parks on the Air (POTA), Summits on the Air (SOTA), and various public service events throughout Tioga County and the surrounding region. The club encourages members of all experience levels to get involved — whether you’re a newly licensed Technician or an Extra class operator with decades of experience, there’s always something happening at TCARC. Club meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 6:30 PM at the Tioga County Emergency Operations Center, 99 William Farrell Drive, Wellsboro PA. All are welcome to attend whether you are a member or not.
