While walk-ins are welcome, we strongly encourage candidates to pre-register through HamStudy so we can plan seating, materials, and volunteer examiners.
Pre-registration helps speed up check-in and ensures we have everything ready for you.

- FCC FRN (Federal Registration Number).
If you don’t have one yet, you can create it ahead of time. - Photo ID
- Any existing license / CSCE (if upgrading)
- Optional: pencils, calculator (non-programmable), and a copy of your FRN
💵 Fees
- Exam session fee: $15.00
- FCC application fee: The FCC charges an application fee for new licenses, upgrades, and renewals (the amount may change over time).
