Up Coming Radio Contests June and July 2026
June has one radio contest and July has two contests that I’ve participated in before.
Lewis and Clark Trail on the air.
Start June 5th 8:00 PM est or 0000 UTC
End June 21st 7:59 pm est or 23:59 UTC
This event has stations in each of the 16 US states that now cover land explored by the original Lewis and Clark expedition. The goal is to try and contact a station in each of the 16 states to earn a nice professionaly printed certificate. Awarding you ” expedition partner “.
Normal contesting modes and bands are used. The organizers even have a spotting page on the website you can follow.

The second is the 13 Colonies Special Event.

End July 7th 0400 UTC ( 12 midnight est )
This event consists of 13 special event stations one in each of the original 13 Colonies and three bonus stations.
- WM3PEN
- GB13COL
- TM13COL
It’s a fun event that I have worked the last two years getting a clean sweep certificate.
All bands except 60 M are workable. Modes SSB, CW ,RTTY, and the usual digital modes.

The third contest is the World Wide Award or WWA.
Start June 29th 0000 UTC ( 8:00 pm est )
End July 5th 23:59 UTC ( 7:59 pm est )
In this contest hunters try to work as many activating stations as possible. After acquiring a minimum of 100 points you are eligible for a self service printable certificate or you can also purchase some event plaques and other event swag.
During the January 2026 month long edition. I scored 96th place US digital. Not bad considering the volume of operators that participate.
